Broken Safari

If this is not the most broken thing Apple has done, than I don't know what is...this is almost like Apple forgetting to modify their legal contract and leaving as was, "illegal" when Safari first came to Windows.

MacBook Dot Matrix

I am not sure if anybody was even looking for it, but I was watching the Keynote from this past week, and during that last little clip on how the new MacBook was made, I noticed the Dot Matrix...not really sure if it is of any real use but there it is in the picture...

Dubai Buildings

As Dubai continues to grow and develop as the worlds riches city, it also leads in technology and architectural development. As amazed as I was when the Crown Prince of Dubai had decided to start construction even though Nakheel had yet to finish the blueprints, this new rotating building is even more amazing. I just wish the United States would to some extent catch on to this type of construction. If this of any interest to you, consider taking a look at the Dubai Pearl.

$2,000 24k Gold iPhone

British company, Amosu is bringing new meaning into expensive phones. The company offers certain phones to be made or have the silver covered/replaced with gold or diamonds. A full line of products including a gallery is available here.

They even have a MacBook Pro, this will of course be about $7,000 for all that gold, personally, I don't think a Mac should be gold, but that iPod and iPhone look nice. The iPhone directly below is the Diamond covered one, and the one below that is the gold one.

In 2021 You'll Enjoy Total Recall...

According to Popsci (Popular Science), this will be the future of photographic, not to mention audio/video memory. The goal from what I understand is to try to get this device to recognize different faces and voices to use as way to search through your every thought. This little contact camera in sync with the ear piece is the next generation of your PDA/Phone.

Let ChaCha Research For You...Free!

There are always those really annoying things you have to lookup, and forget to look them up until you have run out of time. Or it is something that has way to many results when you search, and none of them are relavent. ChaCha provides a great seach engine and live assistance. As they have grown increasingly popular you now do have to register to "Search With  a Guide", but registration is short and free. Most of the time you get some pretty good results. It also helps if you have your soudn turned on because you can hear when they either send you a message or a search result.

Portable X-Ray

Warning: This may cause you to win a Darwin Award!

(If this video says it has an error, or won't play it is because it does not always work in feed readers, such as Google Reader or Bloglines.)

As much as I would lovwe to have one of these, this is absolutely stupid if it is to be sold to the public. Way to much radiation, this would be a great thing to include in ambulances and firetrucks as they could see some internal damage instantly, but this would make it even easier for stupid people to kill themselves by accident.

Mozilla Add-on: Hackbar "will NOT learn you how to hack a site"

Well this is funny, I did not think that anyone actually made this mistake. I have seen this on many different types of grammar test/quizzes as an obvious example. I was looking for some new Firefox Add-ons when when I saw this on the Add-Ons homepage.

After clicking on this to see what it was I quickly spotted this huge grammar error on the page giving more information about the Add-on.

# In general
This toolbar will help you in testing sql injections, XSS holes and site security. It is NOT a tool for executing standard exploits and it will NOT learn you how to hack a site. Its main purpose is to help a developer do security audits on his code. If you know what your doing, this toolbar will help you do it faster. If you want to learn to find security holes, you can also use this toolbar, but you will probably also need a book, and a lot of google :)

I never had seen such an obvious mistake published in something such as the Add-ons page.

Remove Wine Corks From Bottles

I don't think this would work very well if there were still wine in there. Unless you save wine bottles this is almost useless, and it is somewhat difficult to accidentally drop the cork into the wine bottle unless the cork is really worn, but even then it is kind of difficult. At least you don't have to break the bottle.
