Apple Ad: All the Love of the World - Nine Inch Nails

This is a compliation of videos that I have brought together to form a new ad. The song is by Nine Inch Nails...This is all my own work, but the content in the video belongs to the rightfull owners. Oh, and I recomend that you watch this in high quality. It is only about 7mb in HQ, so it will load pretty fast usually.

Wii, Visual and Mental Exercise

At first, I though the Playstation 3 would lead due to the Cell Processors, but now I am starting to see more developers to use the Wii tracking and such to benifit for actual uses. The problem, as it seems, with the PS3 is that no one really knows how to use or control all of the processing power. If the next generation of the Nintendo Wii will have the feature described below, and the capability to have such feature built into a web browser and media player I would rush to get one.

As far as this bottom video, controlling a virtual environment with brainwaves, that is just awesome!

Packing Light When You Travel

Whenever I travel I pack as much as I think I might need in as small and light a space I can. I usually have a couple things for entertainment, as well as other stuff I may not have when I am away. I usually don't bring all my work unless it is something digital, because I already know that personally it will only get lost or messed up, and that I am not going to be able to focus in most places I visit or travel to, so I will take something that is small and I can work on for minutes at a time. The reason as to why, I mention this is because the other day, I went away for a 4 days, and was able to pack very light, and noticed that there was not at any point in my trip, a time when I needed more stuff.

I recommend:

If you take a towel, take a small towel such as a kids towel.

If you take a blanket, try to take one that is somewhat light such as a down blanket.

Pack for an extra day, plan on wearing pants for 2-3 days.

Take as little as you can as far as electronics. If you have an iPod and a laptop you are taking, you most likely will not need that wall charger, it is just one more little thing to stuff in the corners of your bag because you will have your laptop to charge your iPod when necessary.

Pack your clothes according to when you thing you are going to wear them. The stuff you will wear the earliest last. Fold and then roll, maybe even use a jumbo rubber band for some things. Place the things sideways.

Only put stuff you can actually use during the time you will have in your carry on in your carry on or upfront bag. Most of the time you can't use a regular outlet. If you are driving and know you will need an outlet, get one of those converters that plugs into your car's lighter and has regular outlets on the other end. Be power conscience.

Pack the very minimal as far as shower stuff. Use travel size items whenever possible.

Leave some space in case you buy something or don't want to refold things. Usually just quickly folding them into quarters and then rolling works, besides at this point it does not matter if it is wrinkled for the ride home.

Make sure that you can keep track of it all and fit it into 1 hand, or carry it all at once; and maybe have something like a backpack.

Be sure this is something you could carry if you needed to carry it the whole trip everywhere you went.

Microsoft Office Live Photo Galleries Using Ringo

I know that many people hare going to be taking a lot of pictures in the next day or so, so I made this video to help some people with creating a web gallery for friends. In this episode of my podcast I show how to link to this web gallery using Microsoft Office Live, but you can also link to gallery in something like your email or blog. Hidden Windows Media Player 11 Skin

If you ever took a look at the Media Player 11 skins they are the same old skins from WMP 8! They are hideous in Vista as they match absolutely nothing!. There is actually a hidden skin in Windows Media Player 11 for Vista, and possibly XP that is not even in the skin list.

If only I would have...

Spent a load of money buying and downloading movies and TV shows from Google Video. After canceling DTO/DTR (Download to Own/Download to Rent) feature of Google Video which allowed users to upoad their videos, choose how much they want to show online, and then offer customers to download the video and watch until their subscription expired, or to just purchase a show to keep for life, Google made an announcement that you would no longer be able to watch those videos on your computer. Of course they got complaints about this (I would have complained if I would have bought anything), and so they derided the easiest thing to do was to just give everybody credit on their Google account that could be used in Google Checkout. This seemed like the best thing to do because some credit cards might have been out of date, meaning Google would not be able to refund the credit cards if they were out of date. Still, people complained at this as just another way to keep people Googlized (yes, thats my own word). So instead, Google ended up offering the refunds by putting the money back on the credit cards. Along with that Google made the following announcements on the Official Google Blog.

We planned to give these users a full refund or more. And because we weren't sure if we had all the correct addresses, latest credit card information, and other billing challenges, we thought offering the refund in the form of Google Checkout credits would entail fewer steps and offer a better user experience. We should have anticipated that some users would see a Checkout credit as nothing more than an extra step of a different (and annoyingly self-serving) kind. Our bad. Here's how we're hoping to fix things:

We're giving a full refund -- as a credit card refund -- to everyone who ever bought a video. We'll need you to make sure we have your most recent credit card information, but once we know where to send the money, you'll get it.
You can still keep the Google Checkout credit that you've received already. Think of it as an additional 'we're sorry we goofed' credit.
We're going to continue to support playing your videos for another six months. We won't be offering the ability to buy additional videos, but what you've already downloaded will remain playable on your computer.

Yes, everybody got back double of what they payed becasue they recevied both Google Checkout credit, along with money back to their credit cards! Absolutely amazing!

The K'NEX Calculator& Computer

"The K'NEX calculator stands over 10 feet tall, and can perform 4 bit addition and subtraction operations in about 30 seconds. The slowest part of the operation is the user entering the balls. From there the balls trickle down, computing the result of the operation, and then sending that through a 4 bit decoder, which flips a flag that tells the user the answer. Since it is 4 bit, we can add and subtract numbers from 0 to 15."

Web Alarm: Plays Videos or MP3's

ALARMd is the web alarm that can play last.fm music or your own MP3s that are stored online. You can also have it play YouTube videos and customize when you want the alarm to go off. The downside is that your video can be deleted, the site may be down, and you have to have your computer on. A good time to use it would be when you just need a reminder. For instance you could find a video that will remind you about what you have to do; and then set an alarm to go off fullscreen.

Tigers

If this video is true or not, I don't know; either way it is still very funny. I laugh at the way that the slide says "ect."; as if all viewers know all the other birth defects for tigers. This is for most people not common knowledge.

The second thing that I had to laugh at is just how ugly this tiger is. What is this thing? Below is a normal tiger and a inbreed tiger. Though I find this very funny, I do am not pro inbreeding for anything. Lets not keep the family in the family.

Which tiger is normal? Do you know?

Watch this train move at 581kph! Yea that is fast! It is the equivalent to 361.016663 mph Maglev trains boast average speeds at about 500 kph , or 310.685596 mph.
